Maybe Polyester Ain't Biodegradable, But Then Again, Neither are the Statler Brothers.

 

Polyesters include naturally-occurring chemicals,suchas the cutin of plant cuticles.  Butthat's about as far as the environmentally friendly shoot goes.  Unless of course, we re-use those skin-tight slacks.

The Streets of Bakersfield

There's plenty of dime-store, coca-cola gym shop clothing purveyors out there.  But I'd stand on Calvin Klein's coffee table with my cowgirl boots on and tell him and his whiskey-soaked skivvies that this is the best brown lambskin pea coat I've ever seen.  Period.  Check it.

Side note: I've also located some solid gold vintage 40's/50's dresses that'll make an appearance soon.  Stay tuned.

Dwight Yoakam Exposes Hole in Vintage Gear

After witnessing Dwight Yoakam live in concert yesterday, it occurred to the design team at PCV that perhaps we weren't producing enough painted on blue jeans, fringe leather jackets and general western mojo for our clients.  It also occurred to the marketing department that perhaps we should expand our demographics to include 53 year-old C & W stars.  Basically the marketing department wants everyone to dress like Dwight.  Finally the corporate office decided we should just get a new line together and call it the Dwight Yoakam collection.  So that's what we're doing today.  But, seriously, Guitars and Cadillacs?  That'll start a revolution.
